It's a pretty good game. Took my a while to get the controls and to understand completely what was going on, but once I got it down, it was a pretty fun strategy game. It could definitely use a bit more information for when you start so you can know what everything is and exactly how to play, but all in all, not a bad game by any means.

Sustain for a given time while defending from waves of infected. Cure the infected with correct type of vaccine to save humans and gain victory points. Additionally you can charge research towers and build bots to perform better.

Yes, making players to understand the rools is my bitter weakness as a game developer so far :(
Anyway, if you liked it maybe would wan't to check a full game in Steam. The Genesis mission is one of 17 game modes in it. There is a fully featured Arcade campaign with 4 different mission types. It's actually more fun when earned points mean something, like with it you can upgrade some stuff in other missions and etc. Just saying)
Too hard I guess? I couldn't beat difficulty 5, maybe I'm just bad.

The thing is you probably misread the rules, or they are not clear enough - it happened for some other players. For the 0-5% difficulty you can simply eliminate all infected with just holding RMB over them and eventually picking up some power-ups. This strategy will easily lead you to victory, but won't give any points. At this point Bots aren't really needed.
For the next round you can try curing only some of the infected (red, reen or blue) with color-relevant vaccine selected by clicking LMB, and RMB-ing the others. This will give you a 100-150 points victory even without Yellow station's upgrades.
The next thing you know you dominating the 15% like no big deal ;)
