This is a game I've been working on (and having ideas for) for quite a while, to say the least. This is a story about a former homeless activist, whose spirit you journey from into the real world.
No enemies, dialogue, or AI yet, but there are tilemaps, movement mechanics, firing, and Collision. I had ideas for this for longer than I've worked on setting it up, so only recently had I been learning to do that.
Don't be discouraged from a low score on this version of the game - it's an ambitious project.
Unfortunately, I had a few problems.
- the character can jump in midair by pressing space as you fall from a block. Not sure if this is intentional
- After the hill to the right I fell out of the map
- jumping up the hill itself was glitchy as the white line on my character sent me downwards quickly
Nice start, looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.
An incredibly ambitious game, built totally from scratch, even the fonts (!!!), is still far from finished. So as you can imagine, I can't give you much as rating for posting an unfinished game with no game play... right? But whatever, keep it up and I hope to see this finished one day! :)
PS: Not sure if I saw everything - After arriving in the isometric world where you mention a future elevator, I fell into a flat blue background.
