Inter Galactic Commute is a top-down space shooter made in 48hrs for the GMTK Game Jam 2018!

It fits the theme genre without mechanic as you can't turn left!

Controls:

"turning left" is not a whole mechanic, I'm sure you know that. "Movement" is. What this does is taking away a lot of the movement mechanic, but makes it actually central to the gameplay. It gets easy instantaneously (especially with the health system regen trick).
The art is very good looking! I hope you can make better games on a new 48h challenge!

Very creative game. I like the art, the animation is okay, and the sound affects are the nice touch. I think that the maps could be fleshed out, and more can be done to make the game cooler. An upgrade system would be cool. Good start.

I found this game frustrating. The control was difficult. I did not enjoy having to go into fullscreen. The sound effects grated on me after a short time.

The game is way too hard. You move too much when you press space, it's impossible to line up shots (plus you only shoot WHEN you press space), plus you can just ram into them and kill them which works much better. And it gets pretty crazy on I think the third level, where there are enemies EVERYWHERE and a million projectiles flying at you. The sounds are pretty basic. They just sound like someone made "pew pew" noises into a microphone. The graphics aren't that great either. It has the same art style as those animations you see freshman make in high school for interactive media.

Doesn't work because it requires WebAssembly to be enabled. At least provide non-obfuscated code using asm.js as a fallback!

Sorry the game didn't work. It was made 48hrs and so I didn't have time to do the things you suggested. Did you end up playing and what improvement could be made (you rated it 0 so I assume alot)?
