Let It Charge

Author Comments

Let It Charge was made in One Hour for the 175th One Hour Game Jam with the theme "Charge". Here, you have to let the progress bar charge. To do that you have to don't move! But you have some enemy who try to catch you!

Good luck!

The question here is: Why would anyone play this over anything else, even if only to kill time?

WAY too basic, sorry, but like someone said, you play the first level then you've basically played them all.

Bigaston responds:

Yup, but it's just a little prototype create in 1 hour

I saw the game and I said COOL! an avoider game with a progress bar! Let's see what I can do with the points I get...
...wait, nothing? No upgrades? No milestones? And that made me sad.

Bigaston responds:

Like I've said it, it's just a little prototype create in 1 hour

I got to 5 stars but then it stopped refilling. Is that the end?

This game is too simple. If you play one level, you've essentially played them all. The game could use some more diversity other than just move, sit, move, sit. Maybe some power ups or more enemies to make it interesting. I would sometimes make it to the next level even though the power bar wasn't full, so I originally thought i had died, but noticed I got to the next level (which wasn't that different from the first.)
Cool concept, executed poorly. (Yes I know this was made in an hour, but still.)

Bigaston responds:

Yeah! Thanks to have see it's made in One Hour!

So, it's just a prototype to test some mecanics. I'm going to improve it maybe.
