Flawed or not, nicely done. Like the use of camera focus on intro and finish.
Hello: I only had one day to animate this, so it turns out this "animation" is soooooo choppy to the point of almost being a "slideshow." Furthermore animating wibbly-wobbly pebbles on other wibbly-wobbly pebbles was a technical nightmare. Let's just say many lessons were learned the next time I do something like this.
Post-production editing was where I was able to do a bit more for the animation, and really my proudest moments that saved the horrid frame rate in my personal opinion: The special effects, the inbetweening, and etcetera via After Effects and Photoshop.
As for the music I placed a recording device inside my mini grand piano so the acoustics turned out surprising well, though I did my best to remove the strange scratchy sound in Audition (I don't even know how it got there). Also anyone with a very keen ear may detect that I had actually extended the music track by stitching together a repeated phrase.
ANYWAY, I know it's flawed. But I had fun from start to finish: From finding the rocks on the river bank, cleaning them, painting them, "catching ideas" for a simple story, setting up the stage, shooting, editing, and playing the piano.
Flawed or not, nicely done. Like the use of camera focus on intro and finish.
Thank you for your input. I'm glad you mentioned my camera work, because I've relatively recently have took up photography and film.
