Very good animation, and a cool style. I especially like the backgrounds. That camera angle from the frog's eye view on the scarecrow was really good. I also like the part where she wakes up, the slight camera movement made it feel like a real jolt, and the voice acting for the girl when she gasps is really good, and her character animation is expressive, with the way she puts her arms on her chest. The narration is okay, but it sounds like a character that has been done before. Other than the animation, the trailer doesn't really get me interested. The story seems pretty cliched, but that could be because you just didn't showcase any of the original parts in the trailer. There's the backstory, the flashback and the mom story thing. Also, it ends quite abruptly and instantly transitions to the book cover, which is something that can really take you out of the experience at the very end. A moment to breathe on the last bit of her looking into the night or a fade to black would have been better.
