Eternal Death is a turn-based rogue-like game.

Your objective is to reach the Gem, a mineral that holds a source of immense power.

Dungeons are full of obstacles: face or bypass enemies to continue and find helpful items to improve your statistics.

Watch out for the dangers of environment!


  • Fixed bugs.
  • Balanced difficulty.


  • Enhanced RNG and added "Light Chest".
  • Larger inventory.
  • Adjusted some objects effects.
  • Added EXP particles.
  • Now random objects and opening chests gives EXP.
  • Enhanced other stuff.


  • Fixed "Script" crash.
  • Added Keyboard movement.
  • Fixed other bugs.
  • Changed effect of "Mine?".


  • Medals revisited.
  • Save system revisited.
  • Vampire statements now steal half damaged HP instead full damaged HP.
  • Changed effects of: potions, "Slab", "Jar Of Unknown" and "Millennial Green Stone".
  • Enhanced other stuff.


  • Smaller dungeon generation for fix lag, make it more balanced and less boring.
  • Fixed "Inventory Changer" crash.
  • Fire statement now damage randomly from 1 to 3 HP.
  • Changed "Books Of Death" and "Quartz" effects.
  • You can log-in to NG whenever you want: unlocked medals in-game can be unlocked by clicking it in Encyclopedia.
  • Enhanced other stuff.


This game was a pretext to learn JavaScript.

Written in pure JS, CSS and HTML5, no engine or framework used (which results in a bad optimization, sorry for this).

If the game runs slow, try to close and re-open browser (I suggest Opera).

I like the top down style just like the old classic games, nice work that energy really shines through the visual details just like you have done here Its games like this that speak volumes, An interesting game here some nice style you have a good intense visual and it really pops off well, a fun and coloful game you have added alot the boss seems a tad hard at times


Great but I thought the Nectar of the Gods was too OP
However, it was not OP enough for the gem :)

Movement is very slow. And I got stuck at the loading screen after reaching the ancient den.
The diamond equipment is op. Got a hammer with +18attack and a vampire armor with +19 defense and from there it was easy sailing.
The rest is fine.
edit: tried again screen got stuck again at loading screen, also save&exit freezes the game.
Using firefox.

Cool game.
