Hey guys! Here's a little horror short film I made - it features a fully animated CG monster. Looking forward to hearing what you all think.

This was very well done.

Thanks a lot!

When it appears it just kinda stands there for a bit before the pounce but... it does look pretty creepy! Nice work building things up, and with the music too, though I feel it could've been paced a bit more, and glimpsed a bit more before it really appears. It's just one long hall and one loooong corner and then, there it is. But not bad.

I know what you mean! Next time. :)

Loved it man, the visual effects were awesome. Wish the monster was visually teased a bit more before the unveiling, but overall nice work! Your art work piece had an amazing shot of the monster silhouetted in the doorway that I wish made it into the final thing.

Thanks man, good points!

Not too bad... Sorry man, you're acting wasn't bad but just a bit misplaced? Could have been a little more panicked there. The monster is, I am sorry to dissapoint you, plain stupid. And the final scene is pure cringe. Nailed the atmosphere (1 star), the shooting was good (1 star) and the music helped a bit to raise up the tension (1 star). Could have been much better if you would have chosen a simpler yet more creepy model, like a shadow or something. You tried too much to make that monster scary... and it just isn't. If you were making a horror short film then this isn't the way to do it. Anticlimatic and dissapointing. Add more to the creepo factor with some new elements. The whole "this is all in your mind" type of thing always gets me or maybe try the looping scenery method (the gui da qiang). Try better and come here next time, hope to see some improvement Ryan :D !

First of all was it your apartment? (design is nice) But gooosh would it be scary to make such movies in your own place :D

Secondly great short horror. It seems like there is a need in one scene... either a pause to let audience think that it was imagination (despite the description given as HORROR), or a different one that doesn't come to my mind :D But I still liked it:)

Thirdly, it may sound strange but monster was kinda cute O_O... He looked like buffed up ice cream XD

Keep up the great work!!! ^___^
