i would suggest to remove the lighting striking; but if you really wanna have it; make it more dramatic by keeping the rain fallin and make some flashing effects.

the concept was humorous, and it saved your ass from blam.

This is a very good movie for a first timer. I found it kind of interesting but atleast it had someone die in it, so it was all good in the end. Keep up the good work and make more very soon!
