Strategy themed flash. Graphics are OK but they could use more attention to detail. Can you please suffer from a few glitches. There were some grammar and spelling errors as well. With more time and work this could become improved.

This was cool

This was a cool game very advanced and well detailed, the graphics are really detailed and intense, very slick visuals, some extra fancy effects on little action points would be a real plus on this but overall this was a good game so keep up the good game making, anyways untill next time.

Hi Inateno, sorry that I took so much time before trying the demo on Newgrounds.

After looking to the comments below it seems you did some improvement between the moment you launch the demo and now. I enjoy the visual novel experience even if characters still have a lack of charisma (I think you should exagerate the physical traits and clothes of Elias Walker and Eliana should get more facial expressions).

On the game part, I think you should maybe make the board more purified, a cleaner board would probably make the game more accessible for newcommers.

I also get a bug where a duel showed the wrong numbers ( it was like my card was at 0 when the other one was at 4 but i was the one winning) It happenned only one time on the tests I've made on this version.

But it becomes more and more awesome everyday ;) keep the good work.

And for anyone who discover this, Inateno is also someone very open to discuss with to improve the game so don't hesitate and give feedbacks to help improve the game !

Inateno responds:

Hi, thanks for the feedback :)

Yes, I'm doing a new build almost everyday lol.
I don't like bugs lol (but this takes time, more than making the game).

About character-design I agree, but the illustrator doesn't have time actually and he did characters+facial expressions very quickly, I know his work and he can do AWESOME work. The Kickstarter campaign is mainly to pay him. Everything will be polished to the maximum (because he will have enough time for).

Ah I know this little bug lol, I don't know how to fix it yet but it's not blocking so people can play the game x)

Thanks for the support!
I will keep the good work as much as I can ^^

hi there!

like the concept, but I went across some interesting bug: just before winning (18 - 12), whan a round ended (5 - 5) there was no change in the overall score. tried repeating to see if it was a one time thing, but after two more such rounds (6 - 4 & 3 - 7) (I know, I'm pathetic) I stopped trying. I guess you should look into this one... it's quite a game breaker

Inateno responds:

Hi moveos,

Thanks for trying the game and for your feedback.
You are right this is a small bug happening in "COUNT" mode when the round is "draw" there are no points.

I'm not sure if I want it to work like this (to avoid someone winning on a draw) or if it's okay, but I have to clarify this with myself ^^.

I understand it can be a bit frustrating, will do my best to fix this ASAP.

EDIT: ok I get it, this bug was unknown actually, I just encountered it and fixed it (right now).
Hope this will help to kill frustration ;)

An interesting and working combination! Graphics, game play and all is pretty impressive. Small details like being able to just slightly move the camera around a bit, and character being separated from the background as to give it a three-dimensional look in the cutscenes... really gives it a good first impression, but once you jump into the game it's not all as obvious as you'd like. Tutorial could definitely elaborate a bit, but overall seems great. I like the hybrid concept.

Inateno responds:

Hi Cyberdevil,
Thanks for the positive feedback.

I'm glad you noticed all these small details ^^

I will indeed improve the tutorial, it's actually my biggest problem lol (even the online is easier to resolve).
