Cool game

The game is nice and while its a pretty fun platformer the controls seem like they could be smoother maybe respond better even, You bring some nifty elements to the table and this was actually a fun game, so for me its a nice platformer game here

~X~

For walljumping its best to press against the wall and then go to neutral on the arrows and jump. Still doesnt work all the time but its ok.

The controls are too slippery to achieve anything without severe frustration. Felt like crying because of how difficult it was to control the character it was so bad. The music is also quite annoying. Gave it a better than nothing score since at least the game is playable... just not enjoyable.

The first level was fine, but I had trouble after that. With the second level, the precision had to be precise when attempting to collect the first few "gems" after going up the first hill. In other words, some tweaking via object placement, could be a sound idea (same goes for a few miscellaneous jumps from one object to another. Aesthetically, I could understand going for a retro approach, but in the case of text, I suggest it be much more visible for people to see.
