I like the premise, and its ALMOST there, imho, but some of the timing, clipping is a bit off, there is some skipping/tripping and there are artifacts all over your samples.. clean this up, get rid of the distraction of unpolished elements, and its an interesting toy..
RE: Game play
I think a Simon-says/copycat.. or guitar hero, sort of game paradigm could work with this.

BryceSummer responds:

Yeah, the audio clipping/popping/timing issues drove me crazy while I was making this... I tried several ways of mitigating it, and unfortunately it seems to be an issue with unity webgl not liking so many simultaneous audio sources(It works seamlessly as a standalone .exe build... >.>). Thanks for the review!

EDIT: I had a bit of an "Aha!" moment and came up with a fix for some of the popping issues! For those curious: I made it so that it dynamically adjusts the pitches(by a very small amount) of all the audio sources every frame to make them go slightly slower/faster as needed and keep them in sync(instead of just instantly setting their time to the right value like it did previously, which made an audible "pop" every time it occurred). This way, the audio keeps it's time smoothly, with the only downsides being that it might be slightly out of tune, and that it uses a bit more CPU.

EDIT2: Made some more tweaks... I think it sounds a lot better now! Thanks again for the constructive feedback!

a little lacking in acutal game play, would work better if it was just a song or if it was a dance dance style game.

BryceSummer responds:

Thanks for the review!

You're right, it's not a game... And it's not meant to be, although a dance dance style version would indeed be cool.
