Author Comments

This game is a simple platformer. If you fall on spikes or monsters you die, and you’ll respawn on the last checkpoint.

Oh, also, every new room you discover has to fit to the camera, so, everytime you enter a new room, everything shrinks to fit on your screen. The checkpoints will reset this.

I really love the idea but I had not enough time to polish it, add art or some more mechanics, but eh, its “finished”.

The sprites are all mine except for the main character, made by GrafxKid (https://opengameart.org/content/classic-hero)

Music: “8bit Dungeon Boss” by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

This game was made in 48 for the Ludum Dare Game Jam, theme "The more you have, the worse it is".

The game was great to be honest, but what i found funny was 2 things: 1: the funny title. When i was going to play this, i thought i would get the whole game and its levels, all ridiculously tiny until i read the desc. I didnt know what was comin. and 2: the thing keeps getting smaller. The fact that the more i explore, the smaller it gets, really got me. it was funny, but was interesting too. THe game was good, but a version where i could get the whole game, really tiny with ever room shown would be more "Title True" but was better than expected.

It's a fun little platformer and the "gimmick" is neat. My only real criticism is that with some rooms, they don't load until you technically cross the "threshold" into the room door. Which can be a pain in the ass, because right under said threshold there are spikes or some other hazard that you should've been able to see and avoid if the room was loaded. But you can't until you're basically on top of them, causing a cheap death. Aside from that it's really well made, and I can see that the problems I had with the game were likely a side effect of the extremely compacted development cycle. I don't hold that against the author, but it shows in the gameplay, if only slightly.

A good example of platforming done right, though I wish it was a bit longer. The overall game mechanic is pretty cool

Very nice! The balance of floatiness in the jump was perfect. The scaling works even when you don't touch resets. Though not easy it's totally winnable zoomed completely out.

Cool concept! How hard was it to program the scaling camera?
