It's midnight on Halloween, and there's a chill in the air. Choose your own adventure in this text game, navigating 4 areas to find the 10 haunted treasures of Halloween! But ... are you brave enough?

Great adventure! I liked how the the choices to get the treasures varied depending on what they represented. You weren't always rewarded for being amiable to every person you met. All well written, I loved how you could skip text. The only criticism I have is a lack of a proper reward or ending once all treasures are found. Still the game was reward enough and I look forward to seeing more from you.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed Spoopy! Enargy and I had considered adding a bonus chapter for players who completed the 10-treasure storyline, but the final chapter fell by the wayside in order to get the game finished. I'll be sure to include a more satisfying reward at the end of my future games! Thanks so much for the feedback! :D

This is a really good game just wish it had medals than it would be perfect but the music is great and the left to right choice thing is a really cool idea too i hope you make another game like this soon :D

So glad you enjoyed Spoopy! :) Enargy and I have discussed doing another text adventure like this sometime next year. Text is really tricky to do in PICO-8, as carts have to be extremely small when exported (I believe that this cart is 56kb). But we're always up for a challenge, so you might see another game like this from us in the future! Thanks for playing! :D
