One of the last human survivors, you find yourself stranded on an uninhabited island. With a few other victims of the crash, can you craft, mine, and build your way to survival?

Updates can be seen in my news feed: https://davidmaletz.newgrounds.com/news/

Aground was designed around the theme of Progression, and inspired by Utopian Mining and other mining/crafting games. You start out with almost nothing, and you can eventually build your way up to a thriving settlement.

Currently, you can only explore and build on the first few islands, but we have lots of plans for expansion, and the sky is literally not the limit. We’re continuing updates in Early Access ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/876650/Aground/ ) as we add more content and the first spaceship!

We're planning to continue developing Aground based on feedback and suggestions from players, so definitely send me a message or post in our subreddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/aground/ ) or discord ( https://discord.gg/69Jj6MB ) to determine the course of this game.

Controls are explained in game, and it can be played with keyboard or gamepad. The mouse can also be used to navigate menus (but is not required).

Tips/Tricks: https://www.reddit.com/r/aground/comments/76lpfp/aground_tips_tricks/

For players who want to play on multiple computers/versions of the game: Save files can be exported from the Options menu on the title page and imported by dragging and dropping the save file into the game.

Reviews

this game is really amazing, though i killed the golem TWICE but i didnt get the achievement. another thing, im not that far in the game so i dont know if this IS a thing but you should add a feature where you can build something that can make any item invincible (by tools in the game not armor, shield ect.) so yeah this is my review thanks for reading!

Great game! Does anyone know the name to the main theme?

It's called "No Sky Limit," and was composed by Chase Bethea for Aground!

How do you summon a dragon? I've killed the dragon and there's nothing to do there and there is no alchemist quest for it. I'm also stuck trying to figure out what those giant robot creatures need to activate them.

Have you done all the alchemist quests? If you've gotten the wyrm pen but not the dragon lair quest, try feeding the wyrms in the wyrm pen (he mentions it when you talk to him).

its a great game but how do u get iron ingots?

This provided a good bit of enjoyment and I've unlocked all of the in game achievements. However, something puzzles me. I'm missing the secret medal and since it has no sort of clue as to what to do...does anyone know what the last Newgrounds medal is?
