Really intriguing way of story telling and really love the visuals that works with the music and the narrative very well. It could have expanded a bit more on other text options to effect the narrative of the story telling, but as a whole very good work. Really looking forward to other games similar to this!
Another fantastic game from you, after being super impressed with He Beat Her, I came here expecting great storytelling and gorgeous visuals and was not disappointed.
Every second of this game builds up to such a good ending (I've only seen two of the four so far, but will be playing through again to see the rest), and it's a really well put together piece of art. Keep up the fantastic work, really looking forward to seeing where you go next =)
I really love the whole idea of the four different endings. It's very interesting how she's almost like a malevolent spirit/ghost. And I love the idea of the special ending where the friend moves in. Great job! I hope to see more like this!
Took me a couple tries but i got 4 endings and i thought they were all a pretty good read. I really enjoy visual novels and your artwork was fantastic I'm looking forward to more stories from you. I saw in the commments some of you arehaving trouble finding all four endings. First say everything you can to keep the girl around and spend all your time with her. Second say everything you can to get rid of her. Get up to the point where you meet her and can choose between going to your place, grabbing a drink, or telling her you have to go and choose the "I have to go" option. Third get up to the point where you're in bed after inviting her back to your place then change your mind and say everything you can to get rid of her this will get you to your friend moving in section of the story which branches off to endings 3 and 4. For the third tell her everything is fine don't show her the picture and just keep denying any issues. Fourth show her the pictures and say you're not doing okay and there you go all four endings.
I got three of the four endings before throwing up my hands.
This is such a gorgeous game. I've always been a sucker for black and white - MadWorld and Limbo are two of the best in my opinion - and this is no different. The film noir, high contrast and bloom make this visually stunning, and the girl is absurdly attractive. If I can nitpick a little, the only thing I didn't like was the weird branches that sat behind the text bubbles. These just looked awkward to me when compared to the meticulous detail of everything else.
The music is nice but not outstanding. Suitable for the style of game, I think.
The real problem with this game is its brevity. Playing through multiple times gives you enough information to recognize that the girl is a fatal attraction, but rather than the message being subtle it comes across as incomplete. Thematically, or as a narrative, this feels like part of a larger story. It's frustrating having so many choices, too, because it gives the illusion of a larger story existing when the amount of content is deceptively small.
