Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This creature, known as the sazae-oni, comes from Japanese mythology and is half woman half mollusk with a big shell. It facinated me so much that I decided to paint the creature and I must say it came out really well and I'm quit pleased with it. It's not often I feel this pleased with my paintings so this is a real treat.

Recorded with HyperCam 2 & painted in Photoshop CS5.

Though she isn't Botticellis' Venus, she has a rather rough beauty about her that I like. I spent a couple of years in Japan and quite honestly this is the first time I've ever seen any art of this particular creature outside the country. Can you tell me the name of the music that you set it to, as it seems rather familiar.
