Hey ClayDay, I can tell you're very ambitious and I like what you are doing so far. I noticed that your work lacked many of the animation principals, however I can tell you are learning with each project. Keep up the good work. I cant wait to see your work become more polished.

I love this video. Very creative! However, for improvement suggestions, I would say that there is a bit of a pacing issue because everything happens in a bit of a flash. This video could've most likely been helped by being a minute longer. Other than that, great!

Thanks Eddie-LMV! I will strive for longer videos with better pacing in the future!

There's really a lot to love here, I think you did some awesome work. That said, i also think there are some things that need improvement. Starting with the audio, I don't really understand your choice in when to raise and lower the volume of the background music. It seems more or less random. Not all of the sounds are equally loud either, so the character's voice is just sometimes really quiet ("come on boy" for example). Once again, I think you should be a bit more careful in taking your frames so that you don't end up with sporadic spurts of choppiness. Just generally smoothing out the animation would improve this a lot. Also once again, I love the way you use fabrics, and the backgrounds this time around look really awesome! So great job there.
My favourite part in all of this is the general aesthetic and I really love the part where we first see the alien ship(?). It looks so cool, such an awesome visual affect.

So overall, really great job. work on that audio and the animation fluidity, and I can easily see you becoming one of the best. Good work, keep it up!

Thank you for your constructive feedback GoodL! I will work on making a more cohesive audio, and taking more time to create better flow between frames.

Your actual animation and pacing might need some work, but there's definitely a surreal atmosphere to feel from this. Especially towards the end once they're on the ship. Good work!

Well that was unexpected! XD Thought it'd end with them taken away... then I thought it'd end with the alien... but you never knew where it was going next. I like the stopmotion, even if the characters seem to 'squiggle' around a bit much between snapshots, and his shoes look a bit weird. Maybe necessary to have him stick to the ground? Claymation overall looks awesome though, lots of frames; lots of creativity! Nice work.

Thanks Cyberdevil! The shoes were to help him stick to the ground, and I will work to reduce the squiggle.
