Graphics and sound could use improvement, but the concept is first class.

I agree. I'm not really an artist. What I am is a coder.

Great start but needs some more work. Some kind of guidance in the second dimension would be great unless that is suppose to add to the difficulty ( which it does) but great start. Also the sound, *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* get it fixed :)

billy-persistent responds:

Thanks for the feedback. The lack of proportions in the second dimension is supposed to add to the level of difficulty (this changes in level 5 as you've probably seen). This isn't the first time I've had the money sound criticized. What do you think I should do about it?

This is an interesting premise for a game. The player is in debt and needs to grab money out from under the noses of guards and then quickly disappear into an alternate dimension before getting killed. Though I am often a little too slow, when I do evade the guards it's quite satisfying--but not as satisfying as killing the guards with the dimensional burst. That's wonderful. The two 2-dimensional worlds provide a nice balance between nerve-wracking chases and the opportunity to rest. And it's really cool how a portal opens once the player is out of debt.

Given that this is only a demo, I think the complete game will be great! I am going to keep a close eye on this developer.

Is this game even finished?

I mean; the concept is great and all, but most of the game is just incredibly loud beeps and broken doors...

You should at least TEST your game before making the public test it for you.

billy-persistent responds:

Not even CLOSE to finished! This is just the demo of the concept. (And come to think of it the beeps are pretty loud. I'm used to turning my speaker down.) I'm honestly very new to development. Oh yeah and if you couldn't go through doors, it's because you use the right arrow key to do so.
