The Forest Mirror

Explore the forest, taking advantage of its shifted underworld with reversed gravity, and restore the fairies to their home.

*UPDATE* I have optimized the game as much as I could, and I hope that it runs smoothly now, thank you for your patience, I wasn't expecting this much attention.

For a smoother experience, the downloadable version should run at a steady 60 frames per second:

A hint about the 'final' or second to the right fairy: "You have to get it the *right* way and back. The other direction will leave you empty handed"

Quite right, thank you for your rating!

The game is very well done and running smoothly, can be enjoyed completely.

Last faerie is quite hard to obtain, but not impossible. You can get it, just get your jumping straight.

Unfortunately there must be a penalty, because the game won't run smoothly on browsers sometimes, and even though the size is small (~8MB) having to download it is a minus.

JosephMoonGolf responds:

Thank you for playing, and downloading to play the game in the intended way. In future, I want to design games based around what the browser can handle, instead of designing it for windows and then putting it on browser second. Regardless, thank you for informing people of this!

I thought it was a great game and I loved the way you were able to make a quick transition from one place to another. One suggestion I have to make, you should be able to carry more than one fairy at a time. ;)

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked the game. I have had this suggested to me before, and I am still unsure whether I want to change anything about the game, but I thank you for your opinion, it will help me with my future decisions.

Neat little game! I also agree with a combat option for the bats.
Excellent work and love the graphics!

JosephMoonGolf responds:

Thank you! Combat is still something I am unsure about, I enjoyed luring the bats out from where they were blocking my path, but I will take this idea to future projects.

Wow...I almost gave up when I got stuck on the first part where you have to fall in the pit, having said that, I like this game a lot, I didn't know what to expect because there were no instructions on how to progress through the game, that's why I'm only giving you 4 stars. Keep up the good work I am excited to see more of your work!!!

Thanks for your feedback! I'm sorry if you found the game confusing at parts, I was experimenting with giving the player little instructions and more indications on what to do, and I will try to improve the way I do this in future projects.
