First Game of a 15 yo (press ENTER to start)
If the tutorial text doesn't show up, just try out the arrow keys and WASD, i think you will get the idea. With ENTER you set back all colours and get teleported to your last checkpoint. The colour of the <colour splashes> can be wrong too. I don't know why, these issues seem to only show up whon played on HTML5.

concept is cool but you should really state how the game works. art is nonexistent but oh well. when i shoot, i assume i teleport to the paint splatter. forcing the player to shoot into the ceiling to progress without showing a ceiling to hit makes me think the bullet doesn't hit anything so i almost stopped playing really soon into it. theres practically no depth or complexity in the game either. you should really add music in too. theres also no sound effects. the game is extremely bare with not much to it except for the initial concept but... i like the concept so that earns you a star

i really enjoy the concept and making figuring out the platforms as puzzles, it's frustrating in the good way that makes figuring it out all the more sweet, personally I like the basic graphic style it helps with the unusual nature of the game

The whole thing is the game has potential, as long as you fix 3 little things, the framing of it is too big even for playing on PC, making some of the answers for the levels be too tryial and error, fitting it a little better in the screen will make it a lot better;
Then make the color splashes a bit bigger just so they can be more striking again'st the bland background, and finnaly a little music and sound effects would be nice tooo, doesn't need to be anything grand just to make it more engaging to keep playing otherwise it will get boring too fast.

But all in all it's quite nice for a first game.

Thanks for your detailed review. I know where the problem is with the framing, I'm gonna fix that as soon as I can. The colour splashes is a great advice and the thing with the music i forgot a little bit, cuz i often don't play games with music.
