You are the King of the Knights of Dragon Castle. Warriors under your command belong to 3 different groups. They are, Spearmen, Knights and Archers. Real time strategy war takes place in the battlefield.
The warriors from each group has different skills, and different costs to deploy. To send the warriors out to the battle field, use the coins to buy and train them. The goal of the game is to overrun the enemy Castle. You will need proper strategy and tactics to defeat the enemy.

There are 3 types of warriors:

Spearmen costs 3 coins
Archers costs 10 coins
Knights costs 30 coins

At the bottom of the screen is a Buy Warrior Panel. Click at a warrior to select. If you have enough coins it will be sent for training and then into the battlefield. Every 15 seconds you earn bonus coins. Every kill earns you either 3, 10 or 30 coins depending on which enemy is killed.

This game was created with Construct2 and can also be imported into Construct3. I have made the source code available. Just click on the GetSourceCode Button in the Home page (the first page that loads).

Good starting point.

Two issues though:

1. You should allow units to place next to each other and overtake each other,
It is annoying to have knights having to wait behind archers instead of going to the front.
Also it is not very meaningful to have 1 archer staying behind the other archer and being unable to shoot cause of that a unit distance to the enemy.

2. When by chance 2 units end up next to each other and an enemy attacks then both units receive that attack fully.
It should either only deal damage to one unit or split the damage equally.

3. When you start training right when the current unit spawned but before the unit left the castle you sometimes get the training countdown to start and your gold is reduced but after the countdown finishes no unit spawns because the original training from the prior unit had not ended when the new training was started.

This reminds me of the old castle wars game I used to play. The only downside is that it's not as good. The delay in training units is tricky to figure out, it's not consistent. If I wait for the bar to end, I can click immediately to get the unit I want and keep redoing that to get unit after unit fast. There are only three different unit types. Look for castle wars I think it was called, or age of war maybe it was. It's a great game and this is similar. Maybe this could improve to be something like that or even better. I guess we'll see.

you should really make the game faster paced. its annoying watching the people slowly march to each other and nothing happening while trying to respawn units to start the action up again. even though the enemy didnt have any enemies, it took at least a minute to get my troops to travel across to the castle. thats very boring
