NOTE: If you're getting the jumbo mobile version bugs and no crosshair on your PC, go to the options and enable PC Mode.

Bug Attack! Free is a game inspired by arcade classics including Missile Command and Space Invaders.

Players are tasked with protecting their building as long as they can. Bugs emerge from the ground, many of which from random locations, at an increasing rate. Which is the greater enemy? The bug horde, or your
own nerves?

To help, once you've earned certain amounts of points, you earn powerful bug bombs, and health-restoring building repair kits- but not even these can fight the bugs off for long.

Want to team up with a friend? Plug in a controller, and a second player can take command of a building-mounted turret(don't ask, it's a game!) to help fight off the never ending waves of creepy crawlies.

The Steam Version includes achievements, which you unlock by scoring points over time. These unlock a variety of fun bonus options and extra gameplay modes!

Bug Attack! is available or coming soon to Steam, Console, Google Play, Windows 10 Store, as well as this basic free version on web! The Steam version will continue to be supported post-launch with new modes and extra content, free of charge.

Interesting simple game, has potential. If it had an upgrading system it would definitely keep me playing longer to unlock them all and reach maximum bug killing power. Great start, hope to see an updated version or new release soon my dude.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it, man. There's alot more depth and different modes/options to the full version, but I want to roll some of that out to the free versions as time goes on too.

Good game. One thing that I recommend fixing is where bugs spawn. It's kinda unfair when they spawn right on your building and you can't do anything about it?

LudicrousDa3ve responds:

I really appreciate the feedback. The spawning under the building is actually by design, as annoying as it is. The first spark of inspiration was ants invading my kitchen seemingly out of nowhere, so I wanted to keep that whole "where the hell did they come from!?" dynamic in. I thought about the damage vs overall spawn range and rate that you can earn repair kits, and was cool with it.

That said, I'm totally open to adding an option or mode in which they don't do that!
