I loved the game! Art style is great, along with the story-line and music. Great work!
Love the art, but it would have been nice if the game had multiple endings - I played the game several times so that I could try things like not talking to the guests in your house at all or choosing the opposite option, but it seems like these things made no significant difference to how the story unfolds at all.
Fist of all, the art is brilliant. It's an alright story, but as a game I wouldn't rate it too high seeing as there were only three choices to be made in the whole game. Just try to keep 'show, don't tell' in mind please. The story could've been conveyed through actual gameplay or animations, instead of bits of text that aren't even consistent with the rest of the game graphically.
I'd love to see more, though!
It was a great experience... 4.5/5 I like pixel-style games and this was a great game.
At first, the game had such a slow pace I thought it was going to be some sort of joke on a character that does nothing but work, and his house would never change. I was just about to quit, when I met the alchemist. Then that sweet sweet guitar started playing, and I knew I was in for a good ride. I just HAD to keep playing to see where would the story take me, and being able to make players experience that feeling is really good. Great work, my friend.
