Strites and music are nice. Move speed is too high, it is too hard to control the blob.

Slow a bit the move and the falling speed, please. =)

It's good to get second comment about the speed! :) That seems an issue we should fix!

Hope you got to still have some fun time with the game although it had the speed problem!

And thanks for the comment about sprites and music. The graphics person in our team was trying pixel art second time, so it is great to hear it came out nicely.

Funny game.

Btw. in level 2 something strange happened.
I fell into the lava at the bottom.
Usually you lose 2 lives for that and restart at the beginning of level 2 if you any life left or at the start of level 1 if you run out of lifes.
I just had 2 lifes left nd thought maybe I can get avoid losing 2 lifes and pay only 1 life if I jump out of the lava immediately.
But when I did I restarted at the beginning of level 2 but not with a decreased amount of lifes but instead with an increased amount of lifes.
And when I tried to confirm this occurance by repeating it the same thing happened.
So is that a bug or did I find that cheat you mentioned beforehand by chance?

teampow1234 responds:

Thanks for the feedback/review!

That more lives thing you encountered is really interesting oddity :D!

I can't seem to be able to replicate it. I tried to do the same in level 2, but it gives me the normal result - start from the beginning of level 1 if you loose all lives or start from the beginning of level 2 if you loose 1 and still have some lives left.

You've found some mystery bug from our game! :D Maybe it is some precise spot where it happens?

The cheat in level 2 is that you're able to drop down from the beginning platform to the ground, and then travel through the whole level to the end behind the row of the lava heaters to avoid all the jumping. This way you'll see where the hidden robopart in level 2 is located too. :)

+ Thanks for playing the game :D! And finding mysterious mystery from level 2 which we had no idea about that it even existed!

Visuals and music are fun and while the super fast and high jump caught me off-guard, I like that too! Maybe the falling could be slower, though? Otherwise it's really hard to avoid landing on spikes and other off-screen hazards.

The high/fast jumping/falling issue noted. :)

When the game was made we weren't sure would it be too high/fast or would it be too easy if the jumping speed/height would be lower.

The spikes in the first level were thought to be a bit tough first challenge too, but we thought there might be tons of people with "golden jumping fingertips" playing the game, so we didn't want to make it too easy from start, but wait for feedback from people playing.

Good to get feedback so we know to tune down the speed to make it more playable :).

+ Good to hear high jump is appreciated :D! I personally like it a lot, because you need to learn to be quite precise when jumping. Our own game killed me many times when I playtested it, so I had to spend some time with it before I got to the right side of my own high jumping.
