My second game made with C# and Unity, I was never a big fan of Arkanoid but i have very special memories of it because it is my father's favorite game and a remember playing with him for hours when i was a little boy.

There are a million Breakout clones out there, not a lot are particularly memorable.
This one has gravity in the physics, which is different - I can't think of another Breakout game I've played that had gravity. So that's cool.

Found a bug - on the 5th level or so, where there unbreakable white bricks in a shape like [< >] around the breakable colored bricks. I had a ball go into the corner between 2 white bricks, and it disappeared. Never came back. Game was unplayable. I'd suggest a kill button that would destroy the ball and start a new turn (if you have another ball) to avoid this kind of bug.

That's interesting, perhaps I could extend the "killzone" to other borders of the screen too and make it so that it doesn't detract a life, that wouldn't fix the bug, but at least wouldn't break the game, honestly, I have no idea how I could really fix this bug, perhaps setting a limit to the ball's speed and forcing it to change directions after reaching this limit could also remove it from the loop without breaking the game, I'll try to get it done later today and update it, thank you for your kind review ^^

Not too new of a type of game. In fact, it's basically a remake of the classic.

Basically, this is one of those games that I call "retro-casual" games; pretty much games for timekilling while also being a callback to a very old game of the same type. It's not the best being made with Unity, considering the ball has Unity-style 'gravity', but that's beside the point.

A decent timekiller. Plenty of potential. But being made in a different game engine than Unity would probably help with the physics.

Thank you for the kind words, I could remove the "gravity" but personally I think it adds at least one different aspect to what is a very overdone kind of game.

Rated 1 / 5 stars the background is an eyesore, the ball moves too fast and you didn't disable the mouse curser. this game needs a lot of work.

Well, it's my second try at doing something in Unity, but thank you for the honest words, can you tell me exactly what in the BG bothers you? like, is too vibrant or is it other thing? On the subject of the ball speed, how could I lower it without affecting the game difficulty?
