Overall, a good, if not very deep, game. Also, being goalkeeper was too easy for me.
1. Polish in menu and graphics; overall, no mistakes
2. Wide variety of teams and leagues
3. Difficulty progression throughout the tournament
Can Be Improved
1. Being able to bend the shots
2. Maybe more variety in music
Reminds me of the Pinch Hitter series of games
Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to avoid bending shots, since it would add another variable that user should set (besides x and y target + shot strength). Bending shots aren't realistic in penalties anyway (different story is with free kicks). Regarding the music - you're right. But the only reason that stopped me from adding several tunes is - game file size. Unlike the good old Flash, HTML5 games aren't compressed well and this was a trade off...
All and all pretty good game, fun to waste some time. Other than that thought, the game could be improve in many ways. For one having customizable kits would be a good start, the game is kind of challenging once you gets out of group stage. Having said all that it does not bring anything new compared to similtar types of games but i would definitely recommend people to check this out.
Thanks. True that - the game mechanics doesn't bring anything particularly new, it's the well known '3-taps-to-shoot system' which I don't adore too much (check out our other penalty kick games, like 'Penalty Fever 3d, for example). This was, actually a faithful remake of one old Flash game. What is different, and can not be seen at a first glance, is that this game has specific learning curve for CPU goalkeeper which brings some challenge in latter stage of the game. I must say that the system of showing the pointer where the CPU shooter will aim was firstly introduced in our ancient 'Penalty Fever 1' game, in 2007. Many other developers copied that approach.
