Hard but Fair

Amberlight Hyperskill is an arcade top-down shooter.
A game about reflexes, split second decisions and advanced skills.

Imprisoned in the hypernet, the player must defend himself against the creations of an artificial intelligence infected by madness.

There are two modes: The story and the challenge.

Upgrade your various abilities, evade dangers and conquer the enemy.

Dive into the dark, cyberpunk space of the Hypernet and its many dangers. Meet the denizens of this virtual world and the broken AI holding them captive. Uncover the rise and fall of this artificial intelligence and the hope and despair of humanity.
You will face hard challenges and fail many times, but if you give your best, you can succeed.

This game is not meant for casual players. The levels and enemies are designed to offer a real challenge for true gamers.
Enjoy the rush of battle and give your best to beat the challenges of Amberlight Hyperskill.

In the story mode you find your upgrades as you progress through the levels. If some levels are too hard, try getting upgrades in another place. Talk to people by moving into them. They change their dialog, when you progress (e.g. solve the countdown levels). There is a health upgrade inside the hub (next to the stranger).
In the challenge mode open the menu (Q), hover over a skill. Left click upgrades the skills. Right click removes an upgrade (as soon as you close the menu, the upgrades are fixed and can't be reduced).

This game is a work in progress and not all levels are finished and unlocked yet and I will include more skills in the future.

very good game but you should have labeled this as a demo

RaveryNet responds:

I agree. It's stated in the description, but the title should show this as well. Can't change it, due to some "Wait until the upload is finished" message. Weird.

1. The standard RMB attack is not as beautiful as the others.
2. When I went to the embedded pages (Twitter, Ravery) I couldn't go back.
3. The bullets and beam should stop when they leave the gameplay area.
4. Is it right to assume that, with 0 upgrade points put on recharge, some attacks don't ever become active?
5. There a giant (bad, IMO) difficulty spike on "challenges" when you put the big square roaming around the level. Also wasn't clear tome if it was destructible or no.

I loved the game, mostly the effects and general visual. Only played the challenges and on mute.

Bolstered your average of roughly 3.5 stars based only on previous reviews. "The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings." Never got to play the game. Is this my problem or your problem?

Where does the demo ends? I have collected every upgrade and cleared every room except the hard one we met at the beginning because it was definitely too hard and I had no idea what to do next.

Nice, only terribly difficult, after reaching these people i could not move after going out in various directions, i also tired of laser room but it is too small and too precise, maybe the laser would not be able to finish it, the rest of the rooms i could Help, too fast bullets and too much. The game is nicely done, I did not play such a nice retro, last time it was Flow, I liked it so much, and you used to play in English Country Tune? I finished 100%
