How good are your English spelling skills? Spelling Gaps is a new educational word game that will practice your spelling skills in a challenging and entertaining way.

How to play:
1. There will be shown a word on screen, remember it and once ready tap the button under the word or press spacebar!
2. Then the same word appears but with missing letters (number of missing letters depends on difficulty you choose), fill all the empty gaps in the word displayed by using your keyboard or keyboard provided.
3. Watch out each round has 90 seconds time limit (to remember the word and to fill all the gaps) and there will be 10 rounds in total. You can make max 5 mistakes, otherwise the game ends.
4. Get the best score possible and submit it at the end of the game.

There is a bug in the pro level. Without pressing space bar to skip the instruction, the word stays on and one just need to type what he/she sees. Can you please fix that and delete the old records where people cheated?

shajby responds:

Hi there, thanks for a bug report! This has been fixed (a new version is uploaded)

Nice game. My advice is to use the hardest level to have a proper challenge.

shajby responds:

thank you!

Overall, a very great and well made game.
I mostly like how the game itself is generally made, especially the UI as well as the gameplay, where the user can not only solely use mouse only, but keyboard input is allowed.
Though things may start to get a bit boring and repetitive after you play for quite a long time.

Hi there, thank so much for your nice comment and feedback! The game was primarily made for mobile (only touch based) but I decided to add also a keyboard input so it would more user friendly for players on desktops, so I m really glad you found it useful! I admit the game can become a bit repetitive after a while, but as it is educational game I m really happy for every minute somebody plays it and hopefully learns something from it. I also tried to add there some features (difficulties, leaderboards, progress) that I believe would make people come back and play it a bit more (to see their personal progress or points of other people from all around the world)
