Damn decent job, sir. You're awfully close to the other animators (far and few as they are on YT) like Domics and such... Around here, (as in on Newgrounds) I might direct you to check out a few from TechnicalDave. He does a little more graphical illustration, but has a similar storytelling technique, so you might find it interesting and glean a few ideas for developing your own style. As much advice as I might offer, checking out what others are doing for ideas while avoiding any outright copying, is as good a way to develop what you want to do as I can think of. There are those who might draw concern to the copying theory, but just remember, "The best reason not to do something is that it's already being done"... AND you'll be fine.
You've definitely got your own style, not as simplistic as Domics or CasuallyExplained on YT, but you're still focusing more on quantity/speed and not so much on details and excesses. In the interest of getting product out in a reasonable time or at a reasonable rate, you don't have the resources or time to screw too much in details, background, fluidity... etc.. So you're doing fine, and the question of what more versus time is a style question as much as a quality issue.
Haters will hate, and there's no shortage no matter where you go. You're coming along, and I'm not the only one who notices. :o)
Most of these same issues have dragged my "gaming experience" to somewhere between Hell and that weird gooey stuff that builds up on your boots when you spend too much time around a fertilizer plant. I think your controller has a connection issue, either in the wires, or wherever the signal reaches the console itself. I've had similar quirks in Playstation controllers, though they never fully quit, they just lose certain controls at various times... buttons not working or buttons acting pressed when I clearly was pressing them... :o( Most recently, my largest complaint is the infuriating levels of grief for joining any gaming community. As pointed out here, there's practically no content to the games themselves, so you're screwed for content until you get online, and then you're dealing with people who've had the game (and apparently nothing else to do) for months longer... And they enjoy nothing more than terrorizing "fresh meat"... What was ever wrong with a handful of guys who got together once in a while to take turns in healthy competitive gaming? Anyways, I'm going back to PS2... PS3 tops. There's almost nowhere for a reasonable person who happens to enjoy a little gaming once in a while.
Anyways, enough of my additions :oP Don't forget to breathe, relax, and keep on keeping on.
