Instead of a snake this time you need to move the purple hungry worm and eat the red fruits.
sometimes fruits could be hidden on the grass so look carefully.
Try not to hit the screen edges or you own tail.

I managed to die by running into myself, I guess, without touching myself. I was still a worm's width away from hitting myself when I died. Not good.
I agree with Mothballs. Nonetheless, I'd say this has potential.
Hit tests are off. You can be right next to the fruit and grab it anyway. On top of that when you change direction quickly (like if you're going up, pressing right and then down) you die. Probably a hit test error but that needs to be fixed.
You die if you switch to the opposite direction too fast. I pressed left then down after going up and "bit" my tail.
