You are stuck in a time loop damned to loop over and over again in the same room.

This is not a straightforward puzzle game. This might even be be what you call a nogame (but it is a game nevertheless). The annoyingness serves a purpose.

made for Ludum Dare 37 compo in 48H, the theme of the jam was One Room.

the game was made with webGL. don't worry if at first load it shows black screen for a long moment...

update: slightly augmented character speed and added show all text on click

I tried 2-4-1-3 and then I got a punishment.

2-1-4-3 is the pattern?

When you put an item in the melting machine, it takes a ridiculous long time to melt. Sometimes clicking the focus in and out of the game itself helps, sometimes not.

It's not really frozen, but I can see how some people might think it is when you're waiting 5 minutes and nothing, but a few more minutes and you get your part.

This is especially annoying as it takes such a long time *if* you do everything right, so it'll take even longer if you get stuff wrong. How it should work is the melting machine immediately melts the part and gives you back the other part, no waiting for ridiculous amounts of time.

Game does not move past melting coin; it simply freezes.

(does the pattern (2-4-1-3) and it loops) WHAT?

axoona responds:

did you try the pattern?
