The Soap-Man is an endless runner created by myself and my brother. The controls are simple, use directional pad for moving sideways, and use the spacebar for jumping. If you hold the jump button you will jump higher. A double jump can be done just by clicking the jump button after jumping. This is our first game, we are working on adding boosts and additional items on a future update, as well as a mobile port. I'm impressed, I LOVE that you've added a sound bar rather than a mute button, massive respect (and a star) for that from me.
GAMEPLAY: Pretty fun, it's a simple runner, a bit laggy and could use some general refinement i feel, for example, the "lanes" could have some better refinement by showing where the objects are necessarily though road lines (so lines dictating the edges of each lane) or through a number ontop of the enemies indicating lane.
I feel that the use of a shop and different levels would massively benefit this game, but as you shop indicates you're going to update one in, i'll wait to see how it is and update accordingly.
MUSIC/SFX: Decent pacing for the music, really good use, and the sound bar again, is massively appreciated; the SFX aren't too bad either, they're well placed and aren't too bad at all.
ART: The art is nice, the animated sprites make it for me, so i have nothing to really say towards it other than well done.
STORY/PLOT: I think where this game really needs work is through story; Why are we running? What is our goal? Is there an end to the running/level? Indicate to us players what we are doing here, and what is our overarching goal to go towards
Overall: It's a fun little game, and i look forward to updates!

We have a lot of things plan for the game but wanted to release it to see what people will think about it. We definitely are going to work on making the gameplay more fluent, with new boosts and adding more depth to the objects. We had to cut a lot stuff out. My brother is doing all of the art but he had to go back to college so we couldnt finish some comic strips that we had plan to tell the story of Soap-Man.
i enjoyed this game but he should be able to fly
