Makes me feel a weeb

Lo,dat ending XDDDD I <3 this game! Keep working on!

That's some amazing demo.

Excelent game

Fantastic game! I keep getting killed by the Plantain boss though.

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you for your comment. :)

Absolutely fantastic game. I could see this on Steam or something like that. Well done!

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you for your comment. :)

good game!

TwinBlazar responds:

^_^

Top notch game

So this was a top notch game you have here I really love the graphics in this one and the gameplay is pretty amazing it's stylish and you have won some awards for this so it has some good buzz about it not sure what I would improve on it it's a solid game you have here and it has some nice entertaining value but anyways nice work here indeed I look forward to even more from all of you

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
As mentioned no major changes need to be done here this was some awesome stuff here

~X~

TwinBlazar responds:

^_^

This is legitimately one of the worst games I've ever played. The controls are floaty and awful, there's no feedback to attacking enemies, the combat is unintuitive, and the art looks like sub-deviantart tier pixel graphics. I don't care at all for the story which is long-winded and boring, and the character designs are really hideous.

Just perfect. The gameplay is perfect, the soundtrack is epic, the graphics are mind-blowing! I hope this game goes to Steam, i REALLY want a full version of it..

TwinBlazar responds:

Sorry that I haven't replied for a long time. Thank you for your comment but you probably saw my latest post already...

It's a great game ! Ive got nothing bad to say about it, i'm just stuck in the mind read part, i tired shift- nothing, changed the buttons to I still nothing, any help?

TwinBlazar responds:

I updated the game a while ago. Does this issue still persist?

you mean there is up to me real person twin bazzar or something else im blonde srry can i meat this in real :D

TwinBlazar responds:

...say what?

This is awesome!
I could play this for hours!
Unfortunately, I can't make it past the boss because I ran out of things to heal...

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you!

Ran out of things to heal? You can buy some more items at the shop in the Container City. If you want some more cash, get some bananas from Plantain Woods and sell those bananas at the shop.

\(^_^)(^_^)/

cANT WAIT TO PLAY FULL AND TOTALLY FORGET TO PRESS CAPSLOCK OFF

TwinBlazar responds:

LOL!! HERE LET ME TURN CAPSLOCK OFF for you. There, better. \(^_^)(^_^)/

Pretty sweet demon cant wait to try the full thing

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you! \(^_^)(^_^)/

I'm hoping for this game ot be on steam cuz after doing key configurations and exiting i got sent to another page in selecting browser and couldn't play the game :(

The game does seem very interesting tho, as well as character/storylines, albeit there's a lot of improvement to go on with the english/grammar =w=;; but its not so bad. I pray for your success!

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you for your kind words! We will see. ;)

Good game and love the combo attacks.

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you. \(^_^)(^_^)/

the moment that i see the blue hair i knew that it will be a good game, this is one of the games (along with the project dementia) that i play only for the gameplay and sillyness is not a serius game, and the world have a lot of those, also i knew that there will be selfcest makeout like in the smoke attack in Dementia(and orther animations that i don't remmenber), good luck and keep the good work, also i will wait for the full game, is horryble having to fight the whole intro after the real game.

TwinBlazar responds:

Understood. Thank you for playing my games since Dimentia too. XD

For intro, you can skip all of those with ESC, Z or START on Gamepad (Default mapping of X360 Gamepad).

Haha I like the writing and the combos. This game is refreshingly silly.

TwinBlazar responds:

LOL. Thank you for your refreshingly short comment too. XD

I was really put off by the long unskippable intro.

You vastly overestimate how much people care about the story to a game they have no investment in yet.

I wasn't able to get to the game because the intro just kept going and going.

So I'm sorry to give it a zero but I would have had to reach a game to begin the process of adding stars.

TwinBlazar responds:

> long unskippable intro

Seems I didn't make it blatantly clear. Sorry. All cutscenes in this game (except when an input is required such as when Sai and Amp are asking what would you like to eat) are all skippable by pressing ESC or Z. Or if in the case of gamepad, the button that is used for pausing the game is also used for skipping cutscenes. (See config in pause menu)

Maybe you wanna give the game another whirl? :)

I definitely think you could benefit from a native English writer to localize the game. It's strange, but the mechanics are there. You just need the writing to follow.

TwinBlazar responds:

Agreed. I will see what can be done in this department.

Arigatou for your comment.

Mechanically, this is extremely solid - shockingly well put together. Controls feel tight and responsive, default keyboard layout is a bit odd but with some adjusting it'd be fine, and I can imagine playing with a gamepad would feel great. It feels like it's been years since I've played a game on Newgrounds that felt as competently-made as this.

The writing, on the other hand, is not so good. All of the dialogue is messy and stilted, and the whole "conjoined twins who make out" thing is just weird and pretty creepy. I've never understood folks' fascination with twins who kiss each other. Really just spoils the whole thing, for me.

The sprite work is decent, but the character portraits leave much to be desired - very amateurish. Definitely turned off the music right away, but the sound effects are fine.

Overall, very well made but, again, ruined by the weird "twins making out" thing.

TwinBlazar responds:

> I can imagine playing with a gamepad would feel great.

Gamepad is recommended. (Those tutorial texts will change with respect to your input)

> writing

Noted. I will see what can be done.

> I've never understood folks' fascination with twins who kiss each other

To each their own, I guess. But if you feel uncomfortable with the twins, feel free to stop playing. :)

Thank you. :D

The Game design is brilliant. Probably one of the most fun games i've played all year.

The pixel art and backgrounds were fantastic, but the closeup heads of the characters looked a bit cartoonish and crude, like they weren't fully polished/finished.

Music and sound design were fantastic, so A1 on that.

Frankly though, the writing was just meh. The story has so many possibilities, and the story direction itself is great, but the actual dialogue and written descriptions sounded like they were written by a 12 year old and really broke the immersion.

Incredible gameplay, great design overall, great music, but the writing was severely lacking.

TwinBlazar responds:

> closeup portrait

criticism noted.

> Music and sound design were fantastic, so A1 on that

Music is created by http://vexineko.deviantart.com . Go message him. ;)

> writing

noted. I will see what can be done.

Thank you for your criticism and thank you for playing :D

the art of the intro with the busty pirate girls made me laught. the music is to anoying during the level, and also the weird right hand controls but they can be edited so is ok, (and i never get if is a girl with two heads or 2 girls huging all the time...)
beside that it looks with a great potential. good luck

TwinBlazar responds:

If you mean the pirates' spherical bosoms, then I do agreed. :P
I will see what I can do with their pixel busts.

> and i never get if is a girl with two heads or 2 girls huging all the time...

They are conjoined twins so it's 2 girls sharing the same body.
\(^_^)(^_^)/

Arigatou for your comment. :)

So...many...BANANAS!

I LOVED your last game, any chance we will see another blue haired lady? Or maybe a super powerful yellow haired one if you know who I mean X3d

TwinBlazar responds:

> So...many...BANANAS!

YESH!

> I LOVED your last game, any chance we will see another blue haired lady? Or maybe a super powerful yellow haired one if you know who I mean X3d

I will think about it.

Thank you for playing! :D

Wow, this is one of the most massive games I’ve ever played! I mean, my computer couldn’t even take it! I was at least able to get it on Firefox where the reception was a lot better. I just loved the graphics in this. I thought they kind of looked like Giffany from “Gravity Falls”. That’s my favorite episode!

The moves were so complicated. The designs were so good. It was just a really zany game! It made no sense, but was tons of fun. I STILL can’t get the best quality here.

TwinBlazar responds:

Your computer couldn't even take it? Have you set graphics setting to low in config? What OS/Browser are you using?

> I STILL can’t get the best quality here.

Mind tell me more what do u mean by this?

And thank you for your comment :)

I really don't like the setting, feels like something written by a kid who watched too much anime...
But the gameplay itself is fun and somewhat makes up for the cringy story. Graphics are ok I guess, though it looks a bit off at times.
It's pretty good, keep it up.

TwinBlazar responds:

> I really don't like the setting, feels like something written by a kid who watched too much anime...

LOL!

> Graphics are ok I guess, though it looks a bit off at times.

I need to practice art more, I suppose.

Thank you for your comment! :)

Im getting the allout sh*t beaten out of me with the second boss, but otherwise this game is amazing. wish i could save but hey playing this thing again tommorow will be worth it.

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you for playing and thank you for your comment. :)

This is so cool and unique.

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you for playing :)

Just completed the demo, and from what you have it's a pretty solid game. I can see why some people do prefer Sai/Amp over Mitch, however I do see Mitch's potential, especially after the first upgrade. The over world and 'puzzle' room, or SaiAmp Mind room I suppose, is definitely interesting. I can see a reference to your previous game in the check points, the infinity girl (forgot her name) which is cool, wonder if we would run into other familiar characters? it be cool. The facial expressions are pretty well done, and what I imagine is the main antagonist looks pretty scary when she's angry... and ugly, those wrinkles.

Okay so game play. General combat from what I got didn't feel as impactful as the previous game, then again it's psychic powers and bullets, so fine ill accept that. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses which make both of them useful in certain scenarios. While mitch can't make all enemies stagger, I did notice he can stagger, or 'pause' flying enemies which makes him much better for flyers vs Sai/Amp. However her dodge is so much better then his wall simply because of mobility, however I'm sure it will have it's moments. I didn't really experiment too much with skills, but I did see how to use the drones and charge shots to deal disgusting damage as you stated. Platforming is pretty solid, Sai-Amp is the best thanks to her floating and dashing, maybe give Mitch a double jump? Kind of even the mobility out a little?

All in all, this is definitely a worthy successor to your first game so far. When it comes out on steam, ill try and grab it to get a bigger chunk of this game. The art style is still it's unique self, it's funny, characters are cute and the combat is fun. Maybe the story gets to be as dramatic? Can't wait to find out!

TwinBlazar responds:

Noted.

> Platforming is pretty solid, Sai-Amp is the best thanks to her floating and dashing, maybe give Mitch a double jump? Kind of even the mobility out a little?

Mitch will have a "utility" drone that will help both characters moving around.

> All in all, this is definitely a worthy successor to your first game so far.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it! :)

It's good. I can tell a lot of work was put into this game. The various abilities are unique and interesting. Unlike the other reviewer.... I actually preferred Mitch. His charged shots were crazy strong... I mostly just used his charged shot and would switch to the girls just to phase through enemies and attacks. I got to the town, but I wasn't able to finish. Have to go to bed. Wish I could have saved.

TwinBlazar responds:

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. :)

There must be a good reason to not play as the twins, however i don't see it, the other character is so damn boring and weak i don't even bother with it

TwinBlazar responds:

The other character Mitch is a little hard to get used to, and require more precise timing. His peanut shots are very weak and do not stagger enemies, however they are auto-aim at enemies at your facing direction. Mitch's strong power lies in his charged shots and homing drones. His 4th charged shot goes through all enemies and deal huge damage.

See https://youtu.be/FrYv3XuU2zw?t=9m7s and https://youtu.be/FrYv3XuU2zw?t=10m3s

In fact, if done correctly, Mitch can rack up damage faster than the twins.

But regarding the character is boring and weak, I will hereby accept that feedback. Thank you for your comment. :)

Runs very poorly on my machine even though I meet minimum specs. Not sure if it's just me, but I noticed another HTML5 game on Newgrounds has similar problems. I can press "D" on the keyboard once, and they will run for eternity until I press a different key. There are grammatical errors.

TwinBlazar responds:

By any chance, are you using Windows 10? We see that Windows 10 run HTML5 games poorly right now. However, on a Windows 7 machine with the minimum spec above, the game runs responsively and fluidly at 60 fps. I will see what can be done for Windows 10.

> grammatical errors

Could you please point where are they?

Other than that, thank you for your comment. :)

All combos and new things are thrown at the player at once. I feel confused and discouraged to interact with the game. Maybe at some point this game is fun but I'm not that keen on checking it out.

TwinBlazar responds:

Understood. Thank you for your comment. :)
