I would like to prefer a ball instead of the rectangle or whatever is it. And about the game there is nothing interesting, the jump feels laggy.

You start to be somewhat annoying with spam games with the same concept,

Music is very annoying
The controls of the worst
And spam does not help at all

I think if I'm not crazy this week you uploaded 3 games almost the same, okay, my friend, I'll explain something to you.

Is not to upload the same game with a meaningless map
Is not to create a character other than 1 single color
Is not drawing in paint trees and upload the game

no friend

You should take your time and create something good, something that is worth uploading as a game.

Hopefully not see the same again until January.

I hope that in January when you raise the game it is worth this daily spam of your games.

Do not take it wrong, do not say angry or make you feel less, but work more friend and then raise a game that if it is worth.

DragonGladiator responds:

By spam you would be talking about simply releasing updates as soon as I have done enough work for it to be substantial.

and indeed I did upload 3 updates, because I was told of things I could improve, and I wanted to see if they actually had.

Again I say, I am not an artist, and I have no easy way to gain interesting, original art assets for a game, so I'm practically creating "barely good enough" artwork until I get someone talented to help me.

I personally believe that this is worth uploading, seeing as (in this update at least), I did a complete overhaul of the game, it's art and it's levels.

It will possibly be a while before I upload anything else, specifically because I doubt that I will have any more major overhauls in game structure, the only updates SHOULD be art and levels.

Thank you for taking your time to write a review detailing why you think this is bad, It helps me to make the game better in the future.

In post-piston it's possible to jump off the map and keep falling forever. I don't think it's possible to do on accident (I did it on purpose to see if this was an issue) but you might want to think of adding boundaries to the outside area that send you back to the start of a level if you fall off.

DragonGladiator responds:

Thank you for the find, and for the suggestion. I'll most likely put that in the next update.

Some sfx could be done, the possibility of a few easter eggs could be done, maybe different modes (easy, medium, and hard) with the possibility of checkpoints or lives, and lastly telling that the spacebar allows for skipping levels might be a bonus.

(And yes, it's a run-on sentence of sorts)

DragonGladiator responds:

Indeed, I have yet to find a place to acquire sound effects, but they will be in the next update, whenever that happens.

Easter eggs would be good, thank you.
Different modes may be harder to implement, but I will see what I can do.
Probably should have explained about the space bar, however seeing as this is the first iteration, I assumed no-one would have to skip levels they've played before.

Not a huge fan of platformer games. But this game is nice to me. Maybe add a small translucent arrow to indicate to tell the player where to go? I get the idea of having to go forward each stage but I get confused sometimes.
