Cant say I have seen much of these but this was actually pretty enetertaining I like the visual here as it was different and you have some good characters here, and some nice jokes in a way I like the randomness of it all its a good little film you have here and I personally hope to see more of this.

make more of these, and longer.

I'm guessing you grew up on invader zim? this had a similar creepy and dark humor.
looks good, even if nothing much happened yet. This looks like it's got a lot of potential though and I'd like to see more.
oh, and I thought the film reel effect was a neat touch.
wacky, unsettling and goofy, in good measure.

ThriftVideo responds:

Thanks! And Invader Zim was a great show. This is more what happens to a mind when a kid grows up on Duck Tales and Saved by the Bell mixed with some Lost Highway while coming-of-age in the New England Winter gloom.

Reminded me of shows like Squidbillies, and Aqua teen hungerforce. It had that late night 2:30am adultswim vibe. I liked the creepy humor and characters. Really Good.

ThriftVideo responds:

Exactly! You da man. More to come...

I love Nate and Dave. Those two definitely had me smiling a lot. I really like the concept of an inter-dimensional world at a thrift video store; the random shit that happens is different and refreshing. You never know what's going to happen next so it keeps me on my toes.

ThriftVideo responds:

Wow! Thanks for this. Random is the key word, for sure...but look closely and you'll see there is a lot more going on then meets the eye. More to come! Thanks for the review!

Just okay. I laughed once. You had me at arousing, but -- without being too revealing -- it never happened. Not my humor? Would have preferred a different script.

ThriftVideo responds:

Haha -- it's definetly not mainstream humor, but our hope is that it grows on people (not like fungus though). Two more episodes are up and we've got 9 more in the works! Feel free to share our campaign (closes December 23rd) at thriftvideo.com and thanks for the review!
