Particles of Ligth is a classic speed platformer. You are a sentient body of light particles, the only light is a completely dark world. Discover the secrets of the world as you climb to reach the portal which will hopefully take you home.
These graphics I gotta say are pretty revolutionary. Intuitive, different, definitely different so great job with that.
The controls are a little awkward at first but once you get used to them you're golden and it honestly doesn't take long to get used to them, you just die a few times and then you're good :D
The music isn't bad. It can get a little repetitive but it fits rather well I think.
I hope to see more of this, maybe there can be sequels; boss levels, enemies to fight, maybe even a leap to a console with this as I could totally see this being like a Steam game or an Xbox arcade download, you know what a mean.
There's a wide array of possibilities with this so great job.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm really happy that people are responding to the game! I do plan on working on the game further an expanding on it.
This is a really cool game once I got the hang of the controls. The graphics are great I really like the look of this. The mechanics of moving, jumping, and landing are perfect. Challenging too. Nicely made.
In the options menu the word "volume" is cut off the screen. Also after I rose up on that first platform, I missed the next jump and fell back down below but landed on a platform, however the platform that rose doesn't come back down.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have noticed a few of those things my self and will be working on updates as soon as the game is out of "Under Judgement".
Seems like there's some good ideas here. Lot of great ways and moves in which to save your light particle in case your overestimate a jump, and honestly, a part of the fun for me was saving myself at the last second. For me though, the visuals made it a little difficult to gauge what was going on. But this is ultimately a fun and challenging game. I think a lot of people are going to dig it.
That really means a lot to me. Thank you for the kind words about my game.
