This series is very cool! Engaging story and interesting characters!

A Shyfter appears! Cool!

I noticed the Shyfter looks like a Samurai Jack character. I must mention I also like that series. Nice influence.

samurai jack was definitely a huge inspiration for me :)

Just wanted to pop in and point a little something out here. It kind of seemed like a good spot to put it. What I've noticed as this series moves along, particularly that impressed me, is the growth in consistency. Early on, there were a few bits with backgrounds being animated or the style didn't quite match, but in the last two or three, it's pulled together really well. This series also holds together well as a progressive story because you've kept to logical and legitimate steps on a chronological basis. It is just plain old good storytelling, but there's been a lot of deviation recently that doesn't always seem to work out.
Now, I'll grant you, I like other styles as well, so not to take away from animating backgrounds (especially when you kind of need things like torches burning) but... when the background can really fit the foreground and actors, I think everybody wins. In case you might revisit this in the future (distant or not so much) you might consider any background animating to be done with the same "papery style" things you use in the primary storytelling. It's just where a little (okay not so little) work can bring the big pay-off in continuity and sense of the story.
Never the less, doing great, looking for to the next. And don't forget to breathe, relax, and carry on! :)

Wow thanks so much for the review and tips! I can definitely see what you're saying about keeping the fire in a paper style consistent with the rest of the animation- the next episode features fire like these but for future episodes I will work on fixing that :) thank you for watching!

That...cliffhanger. No! I don't want to wait a week for the first shyfter battle :( You've done a fantastic job on all the character designs, but the shyfter's look is especially great! Are you doing all the voices? You've done a great job on those too. Somehow the warbled, pitch-shifted voices actually fit quite nicely into the style :D

Yeah the voices are all me hahah. They probably all sound pretty similar just oddly pitch shifted for some lol. I got the first half of the shyfter battle animated, it's turning out really cool- lots of shyfting! :D I'm very excited to share that next week! thanks for watching!!!
