BEST PLAYED IN FULL SCREEN
This game was concepted and created in 5 weeks by a small and dedicated team of student devs at the School of Game Development @ Academy of Art University.

A horde of barbarians are at your gates, a mob of angry peasants in your streets, a devastating plague ravages the countryside. How will you rule?

Only you can decide in this choose-your-own-adventure about a king in the twilight of his reign.

Listen to your advisers... or not. You are king after all.

Could we get an expanded version of this fun game, and maybe a downloadable one? This game is extremely accurate of the medieval era, and when it comes to choices, they are realistic of options you would have(except for hygiene option). The entire game is set in a Norman kingdom, as you can see in the details, and would be great as a fun, educational tool.

Really fun take on an old idea, I really enjoyed it. Would love to see an expanded version of it someday with more choices and story.

Funny AF XD. Chose To juggle with knifes and he says it was fun... Next moment the Dialogue "Death Comes for All" and that decision of choosing the king to be sacrificed, Asking Salamander to be the king and Sending Pigeons for fight were awesome LMAO

4 star because of the unskippable intro and That 'Ambiguous time later'

Fun, but that unskippable intro...

I would have appreciated a more conclusive ending screen, telling you the result of your actions/what your legacy would be. And echoing everyone else, "ambiguous time later" screen holds for too long, and watching the text slowly crawl to completion at the beginning took too long. Would be nice to click and have it all appear so I could just read it and go forward. I think this is a fun game, but I also wish it was either a little longer or gave a greater sense of the kingdom and my relationship with the people in the palace and my subjects. I felt pretty disconnected from the decisions I was making, and while the questions were fun to ponder, I didn't get a sense of why my answers mattered, and then not having any sort of end-of-game screen kind of left me with a "so what?"
