A simple platformer, but the physics are pretty solid: bounce on a golden 'trampoline' block, and you go higher just as you'd expect to. There's a little bit of a glitch, though, where you can press Z a frame or two after the Spacebar in order to pick up a block from beneath you and carry it to a platform you shouldn't otherwise be able to reach. In fact, there are a few more glitches worth noting:
- You cannot jump off of a purple block that has a purple block standing more than halfway on top of it. (For some reason, having two blocks stacked on top of one another like a staircase causes the bare half of the other block to be 'sticky' in a sense, where you can't jump off of it unless perfectly adjacent to the other block, and only then if you can stand on more than half of the lower block.)
- Normally, purple blocks are heavier than the player and tend to fall faster. However, dropping purple blocks alone onto a trampoline block makes them maintain the physics and gravity of the player. In other words, you can make them drop at roughly the same speed as you and each bounce will send them higher... which leads to:
- This also causes purple blocks to stick to blue 'magnetic' blocks on ceilings. This can be most easily proven in the bonus area after the three levels are beaten.
- But sometimes, this can cause the purple blocks to travel so fast that they'll rocket out of the play area if there's no magnetic block to catch them... which can sometimes mean that levels need to be restarted.
Just what I've noticed; not sure if anyone else has found something different.
