A Simple Quest

Hi! This is A Simple Quest, the first game I've ever made!
Naturally, it's really short and doesn't have much content. In fact, it's only a project made for the purpose of learning how to use the program RPG Maker MV. I feel a little bad about publishing a practice project, but I wanted to receive feedback, and I had no one else to check it for me. So please be easy on me everyone.

It might be slightly more enjoyable to explore everything, like talking to the villagers after beating the final boss, instead of just going straight on to complete the quest.

Well then, I hope you enjoy it everyone!

By the way, you can dash by pressing down the shift key.
This game can be played with a keyboard or a mouse.

Thank you for everyone's response!

I am extremely happy with the ratings I got; I was expecting 1 or 2 stars. It gives me the courage to continue making games, so I want to thank you raters for that.

I also want to thank you for your feedback; they were indeed very helpful. Unfortunately, I won't be making any edits to this game, but I will make sure to apply your feedback in my next game.

Also, about the lag problem, I'm not sure what I can do about it. I wish I could make the whole game load at the very beginning so that the rest of the game runs smoothly, but I don't know how to do that... So you'll just have to be patient with me. Sorry about that.

Again, thank you for your feedback, and hope to see you again!

This game has some funny moments, but it's just using the standard of the RPG Maker MV (with which I mean, that there is more to pull out with this engine, atleast now in 2020).

The mapping is ok, but you might improve on that (if you not already have :)).

For the first game ever made and and with publishing it, you still got a good start (well the game is from 2016, so I'm not sure, whether my review is still needed :3)

As simple and short as this is, it was fun playing all the way to the end of the game!

Other users have already given you a lot of great suggestions for you to improve on your future game-development endeavors on RPG Maker, in particular.

That being said, I have only one advice to you: Don't be afraid to explore new grounds and try new things! Always keep on improving! Perhaps one day we might be granted with a great game from you in the likes of other great games like the Final Fantasy series if you don't ever give up!

I dint die even one time. :D Still good game!

When I think what awesome games came out from this dev I wish I could rate this little gem 100 stars. You are great, man and your games are like a whole new world in the flood of all those idles, incrementals and pay-to-win mmorpgs.
