CONTROLS: Classic RPG Maker controls; arrow keys to move, ESC or X to open menu, ENTER or Z to interact/accept.

Guide Shem, a bounty hunter, across the traps and troubles found within a pirate spaceship for the juicy reward on the subdue and capture of their misterious captain and leader.
But be wary, if you're not careful, you could be the next prize these pirates enjoy...
A short adventure created with RPG Maker MV and a series of its plugins to try and build an entertaining battle system.

This is just a demo, the full game is available through at the following link:

Any constructive criticism is welcome.

EDIT: Thanks to a silly problem that breaks the game I have been reuploading this demo over and over again for far too long. I blame RPG Maker MV.

Note that there will be loading screens and stuff might take a bit until it appears for the first time, since it's apparently how RPG Maker MV decided to handle web deployment.

EDIT 2: I just found out that the offline versions were missing some audio files and crashing. This one is missing them too, but doesn't complain and crash! I don't know what's going on anymore.

Not bad at all... but I do have a couple of complaints, and even a mention of a glitch of sorts.

First off, the art assets have no cohesiveness. Why am I a pixel sprite while everyone else is a 3D-rendered still? You obviously have a model for Shem, so why not use it where appropriate aside from the title card and single sex scene? Secondly, the difficulty tends to fluctuate very randomly to the point where you can get easily overpowered if you're not careful... and finally, the one thing you don't normally want to do (that is, die) is the only way to progress in the story or get any of the better equipment, and nothing alludes to that except for several dead ends and a very frustrated player.

Now for the glitch in question: after about eight turns of fighting, the enemies will run out of ammo / magic / stamina / whatever you want to call it. From the ninth turn onward, they won't do anything against you if they haven't already beaten you in those first eight turns... and when you select the 'Guard' command, you heal about 5% of your total HP. So if you're low on health, you can repeatedly select the 'Guard' command without wasting any of your precious Combat Medicines that are so hard to come by.

Finally, a few tips for new players:

- Go into the game's options and turn on 'Always Dash' and 'Command Remember'. The former lets you move faster, the latter remembers what option you last used so you can use it over and over again by just holding the 'Z' button.
- Just lose the first fight you come across. You won't be able to do anything until you 'die' for the first time. After that, search around.
- It's NEVER worthwhile to use the higher-cost skills. They have a one-turn cooldown before they can be used again; they only do about 25% more damage than their weaker counterparts for double the ammo cost, and they're just as prone to missing... hence why I told you to use 'Command Remember', so you can hold 'Z' all fight and spam your repeatable skills until everything dies.

That said, it's not a bad game... just a bit unfulfilling if anything. Once you get all the better gear, there's not a hell of a lot left to do except exit the demo or fight everyone again... but since skills appear to be based on the weapon you have, not any in-game level marker, there's no point to continuing once every chest is opened.

the game is off to a good start in my eyes you should make everyone the same art design as booty hunter instead of the 3d version and when you die it dosnt do any thing
