Fantastic game up until you max out one of the stats in the upgrades. Suddenly trying to use the upgrades stops the game.

Great Until You Reach the Grind, nice game. It is like when young boys battle with whatever... they just make a cluster out of it.
Game is solid. Increases in difficulty as you progress, and some levels require a change of tactics.
You are able to replay lower levels if you get stuck and need extra money for upgrades.
Down side is: you need to replay lower levels too much, and you need to rebuild your fleet every battle, but battles typically only take a few minutes each, so this isn't too bad.
I was on level 60+ with a pretty much unstoppable fleet set up and then I ran into an exception error and lost basically everything. Reset to level 10 with just a handful of upgrades unlocked where as before I had almost maxed the energy upgrades and my ships were level 20+ for some of them. Other then the inability to properly save and load a game and the exception error it is a solid game and would like to see more of it. But until I can play without fear of starting over I can only give this 2 stars.
