Sorry for the inactivity, I appreciate all the follows and reviews! I present to you, an early build of a game I will be submitting to Mario Fan Games Galaxy. That's another cool site you should check out. There are two levels and two playable characters. The music is from Terry Cavanagh's VVVVVV. I hope it's any good! I just wanted to get something out, and I put a lot of time into the engine and graphics.
The donut platforms aren't like the ones in SMB3. You need to bounce off of them like you would a goomba. They dissapear quick!
Goombas and Koopas can't hurt you. I wasn't to lazy to program it, I wanted to make them harmless.

Good job! You did a good job for this game! Just need to add some sfx and some new soundtrack. I will be waiting for the full release! Don't forget some mistakes! =)

I really appreciate it! I actually reworked these graphics into a much more fast and fun game, you can check it out here if you want! https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/711874
Enjoy and thank you so much for the support!

Yay! Thanks

Not a bad game start, definitely with areas to improve but I guess it's a demo.

The game as a whole just didn't feel that polished. There were a lot of little things missing and they definitely added up while I was playing. No noticeable visual or sound effects when I stomped Goombas or Koopas, no death sounds, things like that. It just made the game feel like it wasn't acknowledging me as a player.

The actual movement of the game seems a bit choppy. Quite frustrating losing your speed once you land from a running jump. Music choice was good, even if you didn't compose it, made the game feel comfy in a way.

If you develop this into a game, try designing your own characters. The game looks promising if you can polish it off a bit and it'd be a pain if you lost credit towards your work because you used pre-designed characters.

Keep it up.

Thank you.

I like it. Graphics look good so far. The koopa could use some work. Seems to be in a different style. The controls seem a little bit slippery as well.

Looks good.

I'll definitely work on the Koopa and control issues. Thanks!

I love the sprite work! the controls took a bit to get used to, I can tell this will be a great game. Also I would like it if the enemies actually killed you! (=

2Mickennxtre68 responds:

Of course, thank you!
