If one would indeed look up and watch the mentioned segment of Talking Funny, it would immediately be evident why the ''totally plagiarized'' claim that is voiced in the above comment is simply false.

Louis CK tells an anecdote about him visiting a local comedy club one night and seeing a performer do a remarkably uninspired parody of 'The Dock of The Bay'. My cartoon makes a direct nod to this parody. (Which intellectually doesn't belong to Louis CK but to the nameless performer.)

The overall scene in my cartoon is in no way plagiarized, and has absolutely nothing to do with the story Louis CK tells on Talking Funny.

If we were all to handle BrushMonkey's standard of what constitutes ''plagiarism'', 90% of Newgrounds's content then should be subjected to similar scrutiny. Note for instance, that among BrushMonkey's favorite movies, we can find ''Awesome Reach'', a Halo parody. Totally plagiarized?
If we were to follow BrushMonkey's logic: yes. Totally plagiarized.

General advice: Don't make inaccurate claims, and get a firmer grip on the difference between plagiarism and forms of genuine intertextuality. Or perhaps your memory is playing tricks on you in this case, and in your mind Louis CK did actually tell a story which, word for word, follows the script of this cartoon.
