Update (July 12th, 2016):

Squeaky Gears is now available on Google play and the App store

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=plus.miles.robotrunner

https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1128189989

Update (July 9th, 2016):

+ Alternative Input has been added.
- Spinning Blades' collider has become smaller.

“Squeaky Gears” is a mixture of an endless runner and a simple puzzle game. In spite of its simple appearance, it's not as easy as it looks.
The players objective is to run as far as possible while avoiding obstacles and solving puzzles.

Input (Mouse):

- Tap to jump
- Drag blocks along the dotted lines to move them

Input (Keyboard):

- Shift to Jump
- WSAD / Arrows to move blocks

Instructions:

- Dodge obstacles and avoid collisions
- Run as far as possible
- Some blocks don't have to be moved
- Move the block which you are on sometimes
- Don't jump too high or you'll end up kissing the dirt

Side note:

The game was originally made for mobile devices. The gameplay ends usually in a few minutes. It requires no networking to play; no lag. And there is no sensitive control like sniping a beetle; making it playable in a moving bus.

It's going to be available on App Store and Google Play. Although it’s designed to play in a bus, don’t play it while you are walking or driving. Crashing in the game is awesome but crashing in real life is not awesome. It hurts!

Quotes:

“The jump animation looks a bit slow, but the gameplay looks solid and a fun twist! :)” - RavenOfCode

If you're going to make a game and put it on newgrounds, it might help to make it mouse friendly, this is why direct ports from mobile don't usually work. Next time atually try to think about PC users before posting here.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't get into this much. I at least appreciate how it's pretty unique. I certainly had no idea what would happen next. At the same time, I can see why this has the lowest rating on Robot Day. It’s too complicated. There are just too many ways to die.

Now, I did appreciate the graphics. I like the design of this little guy. It just got annoying with how there was a closeup every time he died. It’s just depressing. Happy Robot Day 2016!

Hard to get used to controls, mouse alone isn't enough but the keyboard seems pretty effective, with a boost if you use the mouse correctly. Sometimes when trying to jump you get to click a random block and smash against the next thing that comes close to you. Found no problems with keyboard.
Jumping could be better(maybe. Doing the classic 'jump higher if you press [key] for a longer time' should be enough).
