“I Love Making Games” is a text adventure game of how to make games.

This game shows the unique art style by sketching on stickers. It’s partly because we have no funding to purchase graphics tablet, and partly because we are programmers and sketching on stickers is easier for us to translate what’s in our mind to what’s on the sticker.

It becomes our daily life to play games and write dev logs of our games in various social media, such as dev forums, blogs or reddit. Many readers learn a lot of knowledge of making games from the articles. We have been trying our best to answer questions raised by our readers.

Recently IndiePlay organized an independent game development contest. How about making a text adventure game to tell everybody how to make a game? A brilliant idea hit on us!

This game has only one story line right now, which elaborates how we made the game “PxBeats”, but we already have a lot of interesting ideas and story lines to add in future versions of this game. We’ll keep updating the game to cover the following features:

* Multiple roles in the development team
* Multiple roles in the operation team
* Multiple project management tools
* Multiple team collaboration tools
* Sophisticated game design theories
* Wide variety of game engines
* Multiple game programming languages
* Multiple art design tools
* Multiple music composing tools
* Various game development communities
* All sorts of game publishing platforms

Wish you have fun with this game and find it enlighting.

Well, played through it in about 5-10 minutes, and I've got a few things to say about it.

First, some of the jokes just don't stick. Sex jokes were forced and felt as though I was sitting in front of a first time stand-up comedian.
Although not all jokes failed! I loved the chats about the iOS review community, found that very funny.
In regards to the gameplay, it's lacking clearly. There is not enough creativity allowed for in its current state, this definitely needs to allow for more choices before I raise my rating.
As it stands now, I see a very good base, for many joke opportunities and possibilities.

Keep on updating ands I'll be sure to review other versions :)

Why even give options when they aren't available? Being forced into a "choice" is no fun at all. This feels very rushed, and nothing is explained. The art is poor, and the constant "ding" sound like an old PS1 game gets aggravating. This is a good idea, so I would like to see a finished GAME. If I cant make choices than this is just a tutorial to make a game YOU had an idea for.

Do I need a special font pack? ..because I mostly see empty boxes which I have to click on. Few few words.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND A BIT OF THIS GAME. Half a star for the art.

Still, I need some explanations. This game destroyed my brain.

Meh. It's not bad but at the same time it's not all that good.

banacola responds:

Thanks a lot for your support.

We will keep updating to make it better and more fun.

So far, the game seems like it would be...interesting, but it has quite a few things to polish.

First, grammar. Grammar is one of the most important things in a game, and yeesh, this game has poor grammar. Secondly, story. Where is it? Also, who's Joe?

I can't really think of anything else to say other than, overall, it has potential, but is pretty bad as of now. Making the game better at this point isn't a hard task, perhaps have some people give you proper grammar to use? All in all, decent, but keep trying. You may just make it.
