hey everyone after watching some sprite videos online I thought it would be a cool idea to start my own sonic sprite series which will start this summer. Its the first opening so tell me how it is.

Nice job, but from the thumbnail I was expecting it to be a drawn animation. ...Not that I have anything against sprites movies, though.

well, where do I begin? The original characters seem weird in design, the sprites seem to be stretching throughout the animation, making the pixels not look authentic. The song was alright but I think it may be better to check around for one that suits the mood better. Try checking out Super Mario Bros Z if you haven't already, watching that may give you ideas on how to do stuff better. Other than that, I really do think you could pull this off! just keep reaching for perfection.

Well only thing that i find annoying is how you place some of the sprite placement such as one was the stars part I could easily tell that you have the right idea but did you want them to be bouncing up in down and 2nd some of the sprite animation were jittering a bit much that might just be the sprite itself being sized wrong. and it was good until you added in other different sprite that doesn't fit the overall theme of your "sonic" Sprite video.
If anything try to be consistence with the art style dont blend two totally different art together unless if it serve an important part of the story or least a retelling a past event.
im trying to get myself a little more use to working with different sprites but your right i messed up on some of the sprite sizes and failed to see the problem thanks for telling me. also in the series Dio will play a part but not till later same with the hooded sprites
