Really nice
So this was a really nice film here I like the style and great animation here the story really took on a good direction so props to you on the story of this all I will say that the animation itself could use more of a smoother visual here but overall I had fun with this movie and enjoyed reviewing your work here and I will look forward to even more of what you. Have planned for the future so nice job

Art's good. Animation isn't too bad. The pace is damn fast, and the script shows it. The story is promising, but it most likely will arise to something like West Side Story turf wars or XIN battle against authority. It needs something to really stand out. The character's seem ok, but I feel only Jason has real personality.
Lol someone else told me the pacing was fine. Anyway you should check out Episode 2.
Ahh it ends at the best part! Either Derek's strong, or totally out of his league... I like the whole scenario here, the battle school thing, haven't seen anything similar in Flash since Xin. The animation's not always the most fluent, but then again the scenes so far don't require that much motion, and you capture the essentials to progress the script nicely. I wonder how the battles will go though, might be a challenge getting those to look smooth! So far, I'm getting into the groove of this. Looking forward to the continuation!

Yeah in fact Xin was one of my inspirations. As for the fight...I don't wanna spoil anything. You'll just have to stay tuned. The 2nd episode should be dropping pretty soon.
It's not bad, but not too good either. I advise having some kind of background sound and background music. I would also recommend taking out the talking bubbles (but the sound effect words seem like a cool choice). Also you should export this as an mp4 using swivel and post it so there arn't any loading issues as there is currently no loading screen for the movie.
You're not the only one who told me to remove the speech bubbles. But I want mine to stand apart because I wanted to do a hybrid between a comic and and anime.
