I'm a bit late on this but I still wanted to write a review. The visuals are nice and I like the style you were going for. It was a bit too gray for something called Color Theory but still it looks nice. The sound and music isn't anything special but their still cool. The big problem is the story telling, you need to do a better job telling the story in the next one. I did eventually get what was going on after watching it a few times, though. Overall this was pretty cool and I'm excited to see more.

The animation is good but the story is a bit confusing. Hopefully, a bit more would be explained next episode.

really liked the experimental style to it all but i didn't get anything from the story. i watched this like 6 times and still couldn't pull together a full plot synopsis. from what I saw none of the characters really have a trait. i would test out with storytelling and character devolpment before you make a full serious cartoon / full serious episode of a show. also just a small nitpick but holy shit 8-bit music and sound effects are so fucking overused even for something like this, but thats not really your fault. still stickin around for what you've got next, i was and still am excited for this color theory thing to be a thing i'll really enjoy.

I'm gonna actual critique this, i figured if your somewhat self aware youll be able to understand where im coming from, but nevertheless lets get on with it.
1st of all, megaman sound effects get fucking annoying after a while, i dont know how someone can sit through hours of BLIP BLOP BLIP without getting pissed off, but whatever, thats what you like so you put it in there, fine. Except you spent 98 fucking dollars on those sound effects and they're shit. Also, the folly sound effect of the clothes rustling is so fucking loud.
The music iust ok i guess, i dunno, not realy my kinda thing, pretty basic shit.
2ndly, and this is a big one, YO NEED TO BE ABLE TO EFFICIENTLY TELL YOUR STORY!
The art of animation, comic books, ect. is to tell stories through a visual medium. Truthfully, you dont NEED words and dialogue or text to tell your story at all, if the poses, characters, composition, lighting, ect. is god, then you can get away with it. You however have failed at grasping this concept.
All of the scenes in this short make no sense, i literally cant follow it/have no fuicking idea what happened from beginning to end. If you asked me what the plot of this episode was, id say some orange guy fucked around with 2 grey guys, then became friends, and while hanging out the one guy got shot. but like, im not even realy sure. I have no idea what the difference between the characters were, i lost track of who was who, i didn't know if orange guy was a dick or what, he just went around slapping his knee and pelvis thrusting.
The backgrounds are pretty garbage too, they're overly simplified and are hard to follow, i have no idea where the characters are in relation to each other, and if im looking at a new scene or an extension of the last one.
finally, the fucking animation. To be honest, there were some passable frame by frame sequences in here, i gotta say.
but tweening around geometric shapes is fuckin' lazy, unappealing, and once again creates a lot of confusion for the audience.
And i guess that's what i have to say about this whole cartoon in general, its CONFUSING. I was in a call with you and you explained everything abou color theory to me, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! I could barely fucking follow the incoherent lore of this backwards ass fantasy sci fi shit storm you call a narrative! you are the only person who understands your story, literally no one else can follow it. Show this to anyone, and ask them to tell you what happened, i highly doubt they can tell you an accurate plot synopsis.
but what do i know, im just another fag who gets whipped around by influence bosses.

Chase this was really cool.

But I found it really hard to understand what was going on. I know you say it's "character development" but character development isn't something that occurs in a first episode. It happens as the show continues. A pilot episode should focus more on what the plot of the actual show will be about. So I hope the next episode will clarify what is going on.

As for the art, I personally love experimental art styles. However there are some flaws. I don't think it was a good idea to make both the backgrounds and the characters gray. It's really hard to see the characters sometimes. I'd recommend either changing their color scheme or at least make the BG grays and characters grays more contrasting (IE: make the characters lighter grey and BG darker or vice-versa)

I really like the music but I have an issue with the sound design. I think the retro sounds are cool but a bit annoying. I don't think they should have a sound every time they take a step. They could also be a bit quieter; the constant beeping feels like a knife stabbing my ears.

Other than that this is a major improvement from your old stuff! Great work.

PS. Get rid of the amount of frames and how long it took to make in the description. It's dumb.
